Try taking photos with me! I will make sure that the whole family enjoys the photo shoot. You can choose the photos you like the most and you will be able to enjoy the finished photos within two weeks of the photo shoot.
I am available
from our agreement to sending the finished photos. I will make sure that you enjoy the photo shoot and that the photos will come out in which you will look great.
Photos by your choice
you will receive light-adjusted photos without retouching within a week after the photo shoot. From them you can choose the ones that are best for you.
Edited photos
you will receive it in digital form within a week after sending your selection. During those days I will be retouching the photos and generally fine-tuning them.
Hello! I am Barbora.
I am a photographer and now a full-time mom. I have a daughter and another baby is on the way now. Recently, after twelve years in Prague, I moved to Kersko forest and now I also take pictures here. Do you want photos from the forest too?
If I had to describe myself in a few words, I would say that I am a woman, a mom, a vegan, a minimalist. I am quite extroverted, very empathetic and patient when taking pictures. I love nature, travel, Brazil and good food!

How does the collaboration work?
> You contact me and I will get back to you within 3 days max.
> We will agree on a date and I will send you an invoice for a binding reservation. The price of the photo shoot depends on the selected package.
> We will meet at the agreed time at the agreed place. We will walk, talk and take a lot of pictures. We will spend about 30 min-1 hour together. When taking photos with small children, the shooting time may be longer.
> Max. within 7 days I will send you a link to the website where you can find the edited photos. You mark the ones you want and send me a selection. If you like more photos, you can buy more for CZK 200/photo, or use more advantageous packages.
> I will retouch and fine-tune the selected photos and send them to you via the same website within 7 days.
Final look of the photos
You can imagine what the finished photos will look like based on my photos that you see on the website or on my social networks. I will go through the photos and delete the ones that didn't work. I will first apply a filter I created to the successful images to give them a similar feel. I will then fine-tune the individual photos and send them to you to choose from. The ones you choose, I retouch (face, teeth, background) and fine-tune the light, contrast, colors. In the end, you will receive only the selected finished photos.
What should you dress?
Someone gets dressed and goes. For another, choosing an outfit can be stressful. Is this your case too? Let's see what looks better and what to avoid.

> looks best when the woman wears a dress and the man wears a shirt/polo and trousers/shorts (but the most important thing is that you feel good)
> for taking photos at home, light-colored clothing is better

> large inscriptions, logos, very narrow stripes or cubes
> the look of the football team (e.g. all white t-shirts and jeans or all blue)
> very casual clothes (sweatpants, sweatshirts)
> inappropriate underwear (e.g. white bra under a white T-shirt - it will show through)

Read about me
My interest in photography started when I was 13 years old. I had a small compact camera and I took pictures of the details. With the money I saved, I bought a Nikon D90 SLR camera and started taking pictures of my friends. I was immediately sure that I wanted to focus more on photography and as soon as it was possible, I went to Prague to study it.
Education

My journey continued by expanding my knowledge not only to Latin America. As part of my studies, I was accepted for two exchange stays at universities in Brazil - UFF in Niterói and USP in São Paulo. Unfortunately, these studies were not carried out due to covid.
2016-2019

Studying Portuguese greatly influenced my life direction. I learned Portuguese fluently and taught the language for a while, in addition I visited Brazil four times between 2016-2020 and spent a total of 16 weeks there.

I moved to Prague at the age of 15 to study photography. During my studies, I had the opportunity to try taking photos of a wide range of things, both in the studio and outdoors, on SLR and large-format cameras. I've always enjoyed photographing people the most.

study
I quickly looked around in Prague and started receiving interesting job offers. I photographed self-portraits, writers for publishing houses, election campaigns, concerts, portraits, couples and families, as well as exercises for school. There we learned to photograph absolutely everything under any conditions.
dance
In 2015, dancing joined my interests. I started dancing social dances in high school. Kizomba was soon joined by salsa, bachata, forró and zouk. I suddenly had the majority of customers for photo shoots from the dance world, both dance instructors and their students and various dance festivals.
Photographing dancers is one of my favorites, often as an artistic portrait. The dancer Saška Sedláková approached me several times and we always worked in a different environment for a different purpose. Since she is engaged in several dances, the work with her has always been varied. Photographing dancers is definitely something I see potential and my future in.
Brazil
In 2016, I flew to Brazil alone for the first time and enrolled in Charles University in Prague to study Portuguese. I started to move quickly in the Portuguese-Brazilian world and offers came to photograph events for Brazilian companies and various other events that required a Portuguese-speaking photographer.
The next year I spent nine weeks in Brazil. I traveled with a small backpack across the country by bus, I visited nature and cities, rich and poor parts - favelas. In 2019, I flew to the Amazon for three weeks, and in 2020, as a student of Ibero-American studies, I was accepted for a semester at two Brazilian universities (due to covid, I was forced to interrupt my stays). I had photos from Brazil at two exhibitions and my stories were told at three lectures.
portrait, couple, family
Photographing people is an integral part of my work for me. I enjoy photographing individuals (mainly women), couples and families. I prefer the lifestyle form, both at home and outside. Most people these days look for a photographer for artistic styled photos, but I think natural photography is underrated. Today, everyone takes photos with their mobile phones, but usually someone is missing from the photos, or all the photos together are taken as selfies, and that's a shame. I also notice another problem - there are so many photos from the mobile phone that they get lost among others. This (at least in my experience) does not happen with camera photos.
weddings
I have always enjoyed photographing weddings. I believe I have a flair for organization. I can organize a large number of people, capture every important moment. I plan the photo shoot in such a way that I only have time to edit the photos all week and I will receive the result within a week.
Although I have always enjoyed photographing weddings, I have to admit that it is exhausting for me. Being on your feet all day (sometimes even 14 hours) and not having a moment's break. The weekend flies by and there is no time or energy left for family, so at the moment I only accept offers for weddings exceptionally.
events
During my time in photography, several companies, organizations and associations approached me to take photos for them in the evening or at night. I photographed dance festivals, concerts, company parties, election campaigns, book launches. There was something interesting about every photoshoot, working with people was creative and fulfilling, but just like in the case of weddings, working late into the night didn't suit me, so today I accept offers of this type quite exceptionally.
products
I photographed products for several companies - e.g. books for Nakladatelství Paseka, flowers for dejmipokojovku.cz, paintings and others for bohozena.cz, food supplements for jj68byjagr.com. I also have experience with photographing chandeliers. Product photography is very creative and is still one of my favorites.
